Hopefully Elmo can make me crack a smile.
I got a speeding ticket and it cost me a bit of money. My own fault, I know. I will have to be more careful.

I really need to keep my mouth shut.
Already as a child I've been told to think before speaking. That skill sure hasn't improved with age. MIL had been visiting her sisters the last couple of month and ever since has to let me know how very nice the daughters-in-law are compared to.....me of course.
On Friday evening I told her to move then and have a happy life. Should have worded it nicer I guess.
Since then she hasn't been talking to me. Not an easy task since we are living next door. But she needs to consider my feelings as well from time to time.

Personally I think this is so ugly ! But my daughter loves these square-mouth characters, now very popular here in Japan.
This one hubby won in a lottery and ever since it`s in my daughters bed wishing her sweet dreams at night (@@)
What do you think ? For me this "doll" would be part of my nightmares.....rofl

What made me do this ? Part 2

Okies, I thought about this for a day and here is why......
I am an only child, my parents are still very active and kicking in Germany.
After the huge earthquake in the Tohoku area they were out of their minds with worries.
I can`t blame them, I would have been too.
I decided that it would be a good thing to have something online besides my pixel site
for them to visit from time to time and leave a comment maybe.
I`ve been asked.......why are you still in Japan after that disaster ?
You should make a run and go home to Germany !
Home.........
I tell you why. I`ve been here for 18 years and realized.......this is home for me.
I love and miss Germany and life there might be easier for me.
But I love it here too and besides, I have a husband, 3 kids, a dog, lots of friends,
a house, a job..............(no specific order) here. That is more than I can say for Germany
right now even though my parents and some cousins are there.
So, this is home and where I am it`s safe.
I feel sad and sorry for those who lost everything and loved ones, their pain and sorrow is
beyond my imagination. I wish I could do more than I am doing to help.
It takes time but I am sure things will improve and everything will return to normal.......
whatever that is.......lol

I`ve tried this blogging stuff so many times and discovered that I am just not able to continue.
I created blogs all over the net and am sure there are a couple left I forgot to delete over the years....lol. The reason I am starting again ......... let me think about it and I will get back to you.
This is the end of my first post which I wrote because it looks better than having a " No posts yet" displayed.
